1. Data controller
Watchport is operated by Symble Markets ApS (CVR 45297772), which is the data controller for the personal data processed through this marketplace. You can reach us at support@watchport.eu for any privacy question or request.
2. What we collect
Account data: name, email, phone number, password credentials, display name and optional public bio.
Verification data: identity details returned by MitID; company registration and KYB details for business and international sellers, including beneficial ownership information (name, date of birth, nationality, residential address and source of funds for each beneficial owner), supporting documents, and payout bank details.
Transaction data: listings, offers and counter-offers, Sourcing Requests and responses, messages, orders, payment status, chosen transaction currency, shipping addresses and tracking information.
Support and assistant data: conversations with our AI shopping/seller assistant, and any support tickets or emails you send us.
Technical data: device and browser information, IP address (including for estimating your country in order to show prices in your local currency), and usage analytics.
3. Why we process it
To operate your account and the marketplace, to verify identity and prevent fraud, to process payments through escrow, to arrange insured shipping and authentication, to show prices in your likely local currency, to provide AI-assisted support to buyers and sellers, to comply with anti-money-laundering and bookkeeping obligations, and to support you when you contact us.
4. Legal bases
Performance of a contract (running your deals), legal obligation (AML, KYC/KYB, accounting), legitimate interest (fraud prevention, platform security, service improvement, currency localisation) and consent where required, for example for marketing emails.
5. Who we share data with
SafePay Nordic for escrow and identity verification, our authentication partner for physical inspection, shipping carriers for insured delivery, our AI service provider for the assistant feature, and email and infrastructure providers that operate the platform on our behalf. We never sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as required by law, in particular Danish bookkeeping and anti-money-laundering rules. KYB documents are stored in restricted, encrypted storage accessible only to authorised reviewers. Assistant conversation logs are retained for as long as needed to improve support quality and resolve disputes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account from your profile settings. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
