Returns

How returns work on Watchport, for watches bought from a dealer and from a private seller.

    Version 1.0, October 2026

    1. Which rules apply

The return rules depend on who sells the watch. Every listing and the checkout show whether the seller is a dealer or a private seller.

    2. Buying from a dealer: 14-day right of withdrawal

When you buy from a dealer, you have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The period starts on the day you receive the watch.

To withdraw, tell us within the 14 days by writing to support@watchport.eu. You do not need to give a reason. Return the watch in the condition you received it, with box, papers and all accessories.

When the dealer has received the watch back, the full purchase price is refunded to you.

    3. Buying from a private seller: 48-hour check

Purchases from private sellers are not covered by a right of withdrawal. Instead, you have 48 hours after delivery to check that the watch matches the listing.

If the watch is not as described, report it within the 48 hours from your order page. Payment to the seller is paused while we review the case, following the dispute process described on our Secure payment page.

If the case is decided in your favour, you return the watch and the purchase price is refunded to you. If you approve the watch or the 48 hours pass without a report, the sale is final.

    4. Return shipping

Watchport pays for insured return shipping in both cases: when you use your right of withdrawal on a dealer purchase, and when a dispute on a private sale is decided in your favour. We send you a shipping label and instructions.
